Born on a hot May evening in Conroe, TX. Moved to Jacksonville, FL at the ripe old age of 3 months. Moved to Maryland for a brief tour in 1988. Returned back to Jacksonville in 1989. Went to middle school. Parents moved me to Japan in 1994. Had a hard time adjusting, moved back to Jacksonville by end of 1994. Met the "One" on a cold January morning in 1995, he gave me his jacket. Thought he was autistic. Funny how fate will play out. Gave grandparents hell of a time, and got sent back to the Land of the Rising Sun in 1995. Stuck it out, made various vacations home, went to rehab, and finally left for good in 1997. Graduated HS in April of 1998 and immediately started college. Got my heart crushed twice and then broke a few of my own. Got tired of Florida and moved to California by the end of 1998. Turned 18, went to college, made some gigantic mistakes, and got married in July of 2000. Moved back to Jacksonville that September. Got my first real job, my marriage fell apart, and eventually ended. By the end of 2001, I was unemployed and single. And sick. During this lull a very good friend of mine gave me health insurance, a place to live, and a support that I will never forget. During this time I also made a connection with someone whom was very special, and lost someone I loved very much. By the end of 2002, I found that I had managed to make sure I was alone and bitter. Through my own fault, and with very self destructive and hurtful behavior. It was time in 2003 to pick up the pieces and start over. I moved into my own space, with roommates, bills, responsibility, and two jobs. I was doing well. On my 22nd birthday in 2003, I reunited with someone whom I thought was gone forever, the aforementioned "One". I was drunk, and acting on whimsy. We went to the club, and there he was. Things definitely changed after that. There was love, hate, envy, and confusion. There was time when we weren't going to make it, and I moved to Panama City. My time there was brief, and I soon came home, to Jacksonville. We found out that there was a little one on the way, and things would have to change. We worked it out and then on June 22nd 2004, at precisely 4:40 PM I gave birth to a beautiful little girl. Things were on the up and up and then they came tumbling down. This journal is going to be used as an outlet of my emotions and to document the deconstruction of a girl and reconstruction of a woman.
